Training Rural Doctors for Rural People

Rural GME Training Directory

Graduate Medical Education (GME) Training Directory

Wisconsin is recognized nationally for its high quality rural medical education training opportunities spanning the spectrum of rural medical school, rural training tracks, rural rotations, and rural fellowship programs. The rural hospitals and clinics and urban residency programs with rural training tracks (RTTs) that make up the WI Collaborative for Rural GME (WCRGME) strive to provide residents and fellows with immersion experiences in which medicine is taught in an apprenticeship-style model covering the full scope of primary care medicine.
