Training Rural Doctors for Rural People

Rural Residency Planning and Development Webinars Available at RuralGME.org

The U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is accepting applications for Rural Residency  Planning and Development Program (RRPD) grants to develop new rural residency programs or Rural Training Tracks (RTT) in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Psychiatry.  In cooperation with HRSA, RuralGME.org brings together experts in all aspects of rural residency development in a focused program to help grow GME in rural America. The initial goal is to help prospective or existing rural residency programs assess their ability to qualify for a HRSA RRPD grant.  Visit this link to access webinars about accreditation and finance for developing programs.
